Requirements for application and selection procedure

An ad-hoc scientific committee for the chair is in charge of the selection of applicants

Three essential criteria for Application

An excellent record in both the academic field and the field of research, a list of publications indicating the degree and quality of participation in research activities,
A first rate research project, in a field relevant to the research program of the partners of the Institute of the Americas of Rennes and the university calendar,
Prospects for future cooperation and networking between the applicant’s research center and /or institution of higher learning and the Institute of the Americas. It is desirable that the candidates should contact a research team from IDA-Rennes (see: www.ida-rennes.org) so that they defined the outline of a possible future collaboration.
